Internships

Interns work on live Phlo projects with a named mentor, remotely or from our offices in London and Rotterdam. You register once. We match you to the open project that best fits your skills and the hours you can give, and a coordinator confirms it with you, usually within three working days.

Training

We use AI every day to write our software and run our back office, our customers move goods across borders and file customs declarations through our software, and we build trading systems for commodity firms. The courses teach what we learned doing that, to companies and individuals.

  • AI-assisted software development

    How teams ship production software with AI coding assistants: specs, prompting, review, testing and guardrails. Hands-on, in your own codebase where possible.

  • AI strategy & consulting

    Find where AI pays back in your business. We map processes, size the opportunities, pick the first use cases and build a roadmap your team can run.

  • AI in middle & back office

    Automate the repetitive work in finance, operations and trade admin: documents, reconciliations, data entry, reporting and email triage.

  • International SCM and customs

    How goods move across borders: Incoterms, freight, documentation, customs and duty. The customs part is taught by filing declarations in tradePhlo Declarations, the software our customers use for UK CDS import and export, NCTS transit and Dutch DMS, with tariff classification in tradePhlo Intelligence.

  • Commodity trading

    The physical commodity trade from contract to cash: deal capture, logistics, pricing, hedging, trade finance and the KPIs that tell you whether a trading business is healthy. Taught with opsPhlo, our trading and accounting system, and drawn from Saurabh Goyal's book 50 KPIs for Commodity Businesses.

  • AI literacy for everyone

    A practical half-day or full-day course for non-technical staff: what AI can and can't do, using assistants safely, data protection and prompt skills.
